WARNING AND DISCLAIMER!

RED VEIN reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone. Our attractions will expose you to intense audio and lighting, extremely low visibility, strobe lights, fog, damp or wet conditions, foul language, gore, and a physically demanding environment. Do not participate if you are pregnant, have claustrophobia, are prone to seizures, or have heart or respiratory conditions. Inside, you will be given an option to be marked in “blood.” Touching or harming an actor or prop/set piece will result in security removing you from the attractions. If you appear intoxicated, you will not be permitted entry. No flash photography or videography is allowed inside the attractions (both indoor and outdoor sections). Photos are allowed at the queues. Absolutely no lighters, smoking or vaping is allowed inside or around the attractions. We recommend children under 13 enter with a parent or guardian. Children under the age of 8 are ONLY permitted on “No Slaughter Night.”

Without a doubt.

Yes, no one under the age of 8 will be permitted (unless it’s a special “No Slaughter Night” without actors) and we don’t recommend children under 13 go through without a parent or guardian. We very much design the attraction to scare adults, so parental discretion is advised. Remember, there are no refunds. If you’ve purchased a ticket and you or your child realize you’re too scared to continue even while waiting in line, then we’ve already accomplished our job, albeit sooner than expected.

While we continuously push the boundaries for a truly immersive experience, during our normal operating nights you will not be intentionally grabbed, pulled, or touched inappropriately. Keep in mind you’re entering into an attraction with highly trained and skilled actors, but you’re also in a very confined space and dark environment designed to scare you. Gentle brushing or accidental bumps should be expected. We also have a section in the haunt where you’ll be given an option to be marked in blood. However, if you intentionally touch any of our monsters, crew members, or any of the props/set pieces, you’ll be immediately removed by security. This goes along with threatening to do harm, too. Don’t be that person! We all want to have fun and get scared. It’s Halloween!

RED VEIN uses timed ticketing to help keep General Admission wait times shorter. You may buy tickets onsite at the box office, but we strongly encourage you to pre-purchase tickets online to ensure tickets for your preferred time-slot. Our ticket page has all that information and more.

If you’re running late for the final time-slot, our box office security will let you know if we can still accommodate you before you walk down to the haunt. As long as you arrive prior to the box office closing, we’ll send you through all attractions. The box office closes at 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 10pm on Sundays and Halloween.

Yes, tickets bought online are good for any evening we’re open for the season. In the event of an emergency or if there is a weather cancellation, contact us via email at info@redveinhaunt.com to move your haunt tickets to another evening.

Timed ticketing is our way of saving you time in our General Admission line by ensuring our customers don’t all arrive at the same time. When purchasing your ticket, YOU pick your arrival time. After that time, you can enter the haunt queue and begin your terrifying journey to and through  RED VEIN. We recommend you show up 15-20 minutes early, to park and check in at our box office at Hanover Vegetable Farm. OR come early and enjoy our vendors, music, food trucks, and other special activities. But remember, the time-slot you choose is when you ENTER THE LINE for the haunt. On our busiest nights, General Admission should expect the main queue lines to reach two hour waits.

After purchasing or picking up your wristband at the box office, you’ll make your way to Hanover Vegetable Farm’s event barn, which is where you’ll see our food truck, entertainment, vendors for the evening, as well as the entrance pathway to RED VEIN. Your wristband gets you into 4 attractions… our indoor asylum, outdoor corn maze, outdoor woods trail, and indoor haunted house. Visit the attractions page for specific details. We’ll have our 3 minute escape room available in our gift shop, which is after you exit the haunted house. The escape room is $5 per person and not included in your admission, as it’s first come, first serve (limited space available).

Your ticket includes all 4 haunted attractions and you’ll go through them continuously. You can not pick and choose which attractions to go through. There is a large queue before the Asylum, which includes our General Admission, Fast Pass and VIP lines, and much smaller (and quicker) queues before the Corn, Woods, and House.

Yes, there are discounted rates for groups of 25 or more. Please e-mail us in advance to discuss pricing.

All sales are final. If you are unable to use tickets, they may be transferred to another user. We occasionally post coupon codes so check our social for limited deals.

Be prepared for all types of weather and being outside in the elements. October is traditionally cool, so dress accordingly, which includes wearing comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Sometimes if it’s a particularly wet October, trails can be muddy.

RED VEIN is a long walking path, through corn fields and woods, up ramps and stairs, and over moving floors in tight corridors. If it has rained within 24 hours of our opening, we could also have some muddy conditions. Once you start your journey, there’s nowhere to sit and take a break. However, we try our best to accommodate all levels of mobility. Your entry is about YOUR comfort level. Crutches, wheelchairs and other non-electric mobility aids are allowed, but management may ask you to bypass certain smaller scenes to avoid concerns and help keep your group moving. For example, we may direct guests in wheelchairs to go around a scene with stairs. We recommend coming earlier in the season when we are not as crowded and guests can experience the haunt at a slower pace.

After the box office and making your way down to our event barn, you’ll walk the pathway to the main haunt entrance, where you’ll then get in line to enter the haunt. The line size/wait time completely depends how busy we are. We have timed ticketing to reduce wait times for General Admission. We also have a Fast Pass option, cutting your wait time in half at the main haunt queue, and a VIP option, expediting your haunt entry by skipping the main queue and the Fast Pass queue. The closer we get to Halloween, the – – longer the wait times in our General Admission line, especially on Saturday nights. Purchase your tickets for the earlier time slots or take advantage of our faster ticket options if waiting in line is not your cup of tea.

Inside the Asylum and House, groups will be no more than 4-6 people. In the Corn and Woods, groups will be around 6-8 people. As you make your way through the attractions, we separate groups sporadically. Be prepared for anything. This is non-negotiable and trust us, part of the enjoyment of the show.

Your wait time will vary based on what time and night you arrive. We have smaller crowds earlier in the season, and on nights that aren’t Fridays or Saturdays. Arrive early in the evening if you don’t want to wait in a long line. Even if you’re waiting in line, we work hard to keep you entertained from the moment you enter the gates until the moment you walk back to your car. As far as how long it takes to go through the attraction… well, how fast can you run? These are things best left to the experience.

We’ll still need to split you up. In order for everyone to have the best experience, it’s important to control group sizes. Waiting for your friends, or going through really slow or fast to catch up, only makes the wait longer for everyone else. We promise you’ll see more of the show in a smaller group and you can all talk about it together afterwards at the bonfires!

Flashes and cell phone lights ruin the show that you and others paid to see, and also pose a safety hazard and can spoil the scares for future guests. Once you have entered the first attraction, DO NOT under any circumstances use your phone or take flash photos or video until you have completely exited all attractions. Security reserves the right to remove you from the show for repeated violations (we’ll give you 1 warning). Do your TikToks before or after the haunt! We do have photo ops in every attraction queue as you wait for the next one, so quick snapshots will be allowed in those areas, but once you enter the attractions (indoor and outdoor), please put your phones away.

If you enter any part of the attraction and realize you can’t continue, just shout “spare the lamb!” and one of our staff members will guide you out of the haunt to the nearest exit.

No smoking or vaping, and especially no lighters! There is no smoking allowed on the Hanover Vegetable Farm property at all. No weapons, including Halloween props. No flashlights. No alcohol can be brought on the property. No food or beverages inside the attractions. No full face Halloween masks, but you can wear obvious Halloween attire/costumes. No backpacks or oversized bags, We’ve made an exception for glow necklaces and wristbands for our new 1999 theme, but we strongly discourage it as it can be a distraction to our monsters. Glow sticks and any pulsing or flashing lights are still not allowed. Our rules are for your safety. You’ll be asked to leave if you choose to ignore our rules.

If the weather is bad, we’ll make the call to stay open or close by 6pm on show nights. Please check our social media pages for updates. In the event we close due to inclement weather, all ticket holders will be notified to reschedule, or please contact us

There is no charge for parking. You’ll park in the large field directly off Ashland Road in front of Hanover Vegetable Farm. Just follow the signs.

Yes. You may be exposed to or come in contact with: blood, claustrophobia, crawling, electrical shock, fog, foul scents, gore, liquids, loud noises, moving floors, and strobe lights.

Yes, of course. If you’d like to find out more on the cursed land this haunt sits upon, visit our legend page.
